COLAS 66

The final touches were added to a pair of Colas-liveried Class 66s last night - a pair of models that have, seemingly, taken an age to complete. But, then, one of them was a G scale loco, so that was bound to take up quite a bit of painting time. I'm really pleased with how both locos have turned out, especially the Bachmann OO version which has brought some extra colour to my modern traction fleet.
The Aristocraft G scale loco body is about to be sent off to its owner, to be married-up with the chassis, so it'll be interesting to see how it looks as a complete model for the first time.

The driver in the cab of the G scale 66 has been adapted from a Scenecraft depot worker.

I've been working on a number of 'sheds' recently - look out for the results in Model Rail soon...
